Alan Margazano 

Alan is an energetic guitar instructor and emphsizes performance techniques.  He's a versatile guitar player and great with teaching young children as well as adults.

He is a local coming from right here in McLean. His band Death Penalty while only two years old has already made a name for itself in the area. They've  opened, for Iron Maiden's Blaze Bayley and Exodus. 

He says that the most important part of teaching guitar is that students have fun.  Students get learn to play what they want to play and he uses that to teach a fundamental understanding of the guitar. His lessons are relaxed and low pressure. For students who want to learn he is here week after week.
